Interoffice Tokyo Head Office Live Office/Showroom is currently holding a special exhibition, “Next Scandinavian Classic,” which presents a collection of products by contemporary Scandinavian designers who are leading the next generation and have the potential to become future classics. The exhibition features the latest and hottest products from leading Scandinavian brands such as Carl Hansen & Søn, String Furniture, Louis Poulsen, and Muuto.

The highlight is the Sideways series by Rikke Frost, winner of Denmark’s Next Classic, a design competition sponsored by the Danish National Broadcasting Company. The collection was created to encourage direct conversation as a “detox” for relationships in today’s digital society, combining a deep understanding of craftsmanship with contemporary beauty. The collection combines a deep understanding of craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, symbolically using a combination of different materials and circular shapes to bring a calm and organic look to human connections and spaces.

Other highlights include the Moonsetter floor lamp from Louis Poulsen by Anne Boysen, another Denmark’s Next Classic award winner; Center Center Center by Swedish design studio Form Us With Love from String Furniture; and the Two-Layer Pendant Lamp from Muuto, designed by Thomas Bentzen, among others.
